Which Illustrator files work best?
AI files saved with Create PDF Compatible File enabled work best. Older PostScript-based AI and EPS files are supported for common vector paths, colors and strokes.
Will every Illustrator effect look identical?
No. Placed images, clipping, gradients, blend modes and Illustrator-only effects may be skipped or simplified. The result page reports these cases so you can compare the preview before using it.
Will text remain editable?
PDF-compatible AI text is kept as SVG text when possible, but Figma may substitute the font. EPS text and outlined Illustrator text usually arrive as paths or may not be recoverable as text.
Is PostScript executed?
No. The local parser recognizes a limited set of drawing tokens as data. It never evaluates PostScript programs, and the generated SVG contains no scripts or external links.
