Questions, answered.

What is the difference between the two styles?

Representative colors prioritize the largest areas. Mood palette also considers colorfulness and perceptual distance so smaller accent colors have a better chance to appear.

Are these exact brand colors?

They are sampled colors. For formal brand work, verify them against the original design values.

Are transparent pixels counted?

Mostly transparent pixels are ignored.

Does the image upload?

No. Sampling happens in a small canvas on your device.
