04 A better filing cabinet.
Rename a batch.
Set a clear pattern, preview every name, then download a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded and the file contents stay unchanged.
FILE TOOL
Name them neatly.
File contents are never opened or changed. They are placed in a flat ZIP with safe names. Do not open files you do not trust.
A LITTLE MORE DETAIL
A tidy naming rule for a small pile of files.
Preview every new name before downloading. File contents are treated as opaque data: they are never opened, interpreted or changed.
How it works
- 01
Choose up to 12 files, 100 MB in total.
- 02
Set a prefix, suffix, replacement name, date or sequence.
- 03
Review the names and download a flat ZIP archive.
Questions, answered.
Does renaming change the file contents?
No. The bytes are preserved exactly; only safe archive names are created.
What if two files get the same name?
The shared file engine resolves collisions deterministically so no ZIP entry overwrites another.
Does this scan files for viruses?
No. Contents are never executed or inspected, so you should still avoid opening files you do not trust.
