Is mosaic enough for a name or address?
No. Pixelated text or identifiers can sometimes be inferred. Use an opaque cover and include a generous margin around the full text, barcode or QR code.
Can the cover be removed from the PNG?
Opaque regions replace the selected pixels in a newly encoded PNG; editing layers and original photo metadata are not included. Uncovered details still remain, so inspect the whole output before sharing.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Image processing runs in this browser. Switching to compression passes only the finished PNG in this tab's memory; refreshing clears that handoff.
